A Dream is Born – The LabOS Journey Begins
Our founder, Efy Brand, established the company under the name ‘WorldWide Software,’ driven by a deep aspiration to foster continuous lab innovation and long-term industry partnerships.

SofTov is Born
Recognizing a growing need for dedicated laboratory solutions, SofTov was founded to manage and assist in the process of medical tests and services, from the physician’s order through lab testing to results delivery.
Clalit – First LIS Deployment
Our Lab Information System (LIS) was first deployed in the medical labs of Clalit Health Services, Israel’s largest and most established state-mandated healthcare organization.
Leumit – Second Deployment
The HMO Leumit Health Services, one of Israel’s four major state-mandated health service providers, chose our LIS as its preferred solution.
Sheba – Tel HaShomer City of Health: Our First Hospital Partnership
For our first hospital deployment, we integrated our AutoLIMS solution at Sheba Medical Center, the largest hospital in the country.
A major medical player worldwide, Sheba is the 9th-ranked hospital in the world in 2024 and the 1st-ranked of all Asian and Israeli hospitals.
Ministry of Health – Our First Government Client
Israel’s Ministry of Health officially adopted SofTov as its main LIS solution. The Ministry of Health is responsible for formulating and overseeing Israel’s healthcare policies and services, including hospitals, mental health clinics, and substance abuse programs across the country.
Netlims – Expanding to the USA, Opening Our First US Branch
Following our local success in Israel and the growing demand worldwide, SofTov opened its US branch under the name of Netlims – welcoming the software development corporation Netlims USA, a leading LIS provider serving hundreds of hospitals and labs worldwide, to our portfolio.
Shiel Medical Laboratory – Our First US Client
Shiel Lab, New York City’s largest privately held lab and one of the longest operating clinical laboratories in the USA, chose Netlims USA as their LIS to become our first US client.
Advanced Diagnostics Labs (ADL) – Continued US Growth
The prominent clinical lab ADL joined our growing list of clients.
ADL is a CLIA-accredited lab, meeting HHS standards for reliable testing, specializing in medication and illicit drug levels to provide crucial data that helps medical professionals make informed decisions and improve patient care.
Clalit – Expanding Our Partnership
Following over a decade of successful collaboration, Clalit Health Services, the largest Israeli HMO, moved its entire lab management to Softov LIS.
Strengthening Our US Presence With PathGroup and Sonora Quest Laboratories
We reached agreements with 2 major US service providers. These clients were just the beginning of our global portfolio’s growth over the following decade.
LabOS is Born
With the release of our first cloud-native LIS solution, we consolidated all of our global activities under our new brand – LabOS.

With the move to the cloud, we were happy to add the Family Health Centers of San Diego to our growing portfolio of clients.
CDX Diagnostics
Continuing our US growth, in 2020 we welcomed CDX Diagnostics, a leader in diagnostic innovation, developing next-generation AI-powered technology to the LabOS family.
Powering the National COVID-19 Testing Infrastructure
In the height of the the Covid-19 pandemic, LabOS rapidly established a national testing infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations, test and sample management, and fast result distribution. Our system supported most COVID-19 laboratories in Israel, including mobile units, hospitals, and private labs. This large-scale initiative played a crucial role in streamlining the country’s pandemic response.
Advancing Laboratories with Cutting-Edge Upgrades
LabOS implemented a comprehensive upgrade for all its Israeli clients, ensuring they had access to the latest system versions. This update also included initial development of infrastructure for digital pathology, paving the way for more advanced and efficient laboratory workflows.
Pioneering AI Integration in Laboratory Operations
LabOS introduced its first AI-powered applications, enhancing automation and efficiency within the system. These innovations optimized data analysis, workflow management, and diagnostic accuracy, marking a new era in laboratory technology.
Introducing Digital Pathology to Israeli Hospitals
LabOS will be implementing digital pathology integrations in hospitals across Israel, starting from 2025. This transformation will enables faster diagnostics, improve collaboration, with precise analysis, revolutionizing pathology workflows nationwide.

After working in almost every department in the company throughout his 20 years with us, Sefi’s role now focuses on strategic planning, addressing core business challenges, financial management, and internal and external communications.
Eli Meir | Co-CEO
Since 2001, Eli has been leading LabOS, focusing on the client services unit and managing all interactions with local and international clients. With unmatched professionalism and care, they attend to every client’s unique needs and dynamic work environments.
Zvika Zisser | Co-CEO
Having served in several key positions in LabOS, such as leading the Dev & Product teams and managing the USA branch, Zvika has also co-founded an independent successful start-up company from which he brings unparalleled knowledge and experience, leading LabOS to the next level.
Gilad Brand | CBDO
As our Chief Business Development Officer, Gilad leads the Business Development, Marketing, and Sales teams, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable sales experience. With over 15 years of expertise in product development, implementation, and support, Gilad excels at identifying and addressing the most critical pain points that laboratories face.
Avi Allerhand | CPO
Avi joined LabOS in 2001 as our Chief Product Officer and has led the product unit, focusing on innovation. Avi’s deep familiarity and understanding of the laboratory life are incorporated in our LIS, and he oversees product upgrades from planning and development to quality assurance and documentation.
Boaz Gal | CTO
Boaz embarked on his journey with LabOS almost 20 years ago as a Team Leader. He rapidly advanced through the ranks, playing a pivotal role in shaping LabOS’ products and solutions. After leading significant management roles in Algotec, Mobileye, and eToro, Boaz reconnected with LabOS as CTO.

Kobi joined LabOS in 2022 and serves as VP & GM of LabOS USA. With over 17 years of experience in global companies, he brings expertise in R&D, product development, agile methodologies, implementation, support, and customer relations.
Mor Caspi | Director of Client Services
Mor joined LabOS in 2017 as a project manager and now leads our Client Services and Technical Operations divisions. She and her team manage all customer operations, ensuring they fully benefit from the capabilities of our LIS.
