Orchard gives you a little bit of everything – and then some. It’s modular, but that also means the setup can feel like assembling IKEA furniture in the dark – with zero proper tools. As one of the pillars of the LIS industry, you’d think Orchard would try and keep up with the times, but the sad reality is that it’s a pillar in the ancient sense of the term.
With a solid reputation for being reliable, Orchard still attracts new labs to invest in their LIS, but we hear frustration when we talk to our clients. Orchard provides many functions, but the LIS itself is simply too overwhelming and complicated to operate. In a lag, your team simply does not have that time to spare.
