LabOS is looking for a QA Automation Engineer to help us take our product reliability and R&D velocity to the next level.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for both front-end and back-end applications.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
• Document and report test results, and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and testability.
• Experience with web and desktop apps, Windows and Linux, Docker, Redis, AWS, SQL and NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Research new technologies, analyze and troubleshoot complicated workflows to design testing and identify faulty components in a complex system.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of experience in Software testing or relevant experience gained through military service.
• Strong knowledge of automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar is required.
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL, Postgres, and Oracle databases, including writing queries, data manipulation, and ensuring data integrity.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in an agile development environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a manual tester for complex products.
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Xray, Zephyr).
